Ingredients

  • 1 ripe avocado, halved and pitted
  • 1 5-ounce can tuna packed in oil
  • 2 teaspoons capers
  • 1 stalk celery
  • zest and juice of 1 lemon
  • salt and pepper, to taste
  • a handful of microgreens or sprouts (optional)

Tools

  • Knife
  • Microplane grater or zester
  • Small bowl
  • Spoon

Method

  1. Stir together tuna, capers, celery, lemon zest and juice, salt and pepper in a bowl.
  2. Spoon the tuna salad into the avocado halves and serve with microgreens or sprouts.
