I used a soup mix that made 2 servings of soup. This was stretched a bit with the orzo addition, but I still wouldn’t call it more than two servings in the backcountry, since you’re usually extra hungry.]]></description>

I have used the foil pouch or canned style pre-cooked chicken, which is shelf-stable so it can last your whole trip if kept away from extreme heat. You could also choose dehydrated chicken which will last as well.]]></description>
